Fly By Clipper started with a simple idea: what if a cocktail hour could transport you somewhere?
It began as a roving cocktail club — intimate, themed tasting events held in secret venues across the western United States. Each evening was built around a destination: Caribbean rum flights one month, Japanese whisky and highballs the next. The venues changed, the themes rotated, and the name came from the era that inspired it all — the golden age of the Pan Am Clipper ships, when travel itself was the adventure.
The vintage travel posters on the walls weren't decoration. They were an invitation: to see the world through a lens of curiosity, elegance, and a good drink in hand. The events grew. The community grew. And somewhere along the way, the question changed from “where should we host the next event?” to “where should we send people next?”

Why “Clipper”?
The Pan Am Clippers were the flying boats that pioneered commercial international air travel in the late 1930s. They turned a transatlantic crossing from a week-long ocean voyage into a day-long flight — and they did it with white-tablecloth dining, sleeping berths, and a sense of occasion that made the journey as memorable as the destination.
